Meet The Founder
Founder & Therapist
Karina Breezer, LCPC, CFRS, CCE
Karina Breezer is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Family Reunification Therapist, Certified Custody Evaluator, and the founder of Breezer Counseling & Wellness. She built BCW from the ground up — born out of real experience, a clear vision of what was missing, and the decision to do something about it.
BCW is the practice that didn’t exist yet. Elevated, intentional, and built for real life — for the complicated, the high-stakes, and the everyday. Therapy, reunification, co-parenting, custody evaluations, parallel parenting, comic book therapy, workshops, groups, events, and so much more — all under one roof, for people from all walks of life. No judgment.
Karina is trained in coercive control and parallel parenting, with a somatic-informed approach to understanding how the body holds what the mind processes. She works with individuals, couples, and families — including teens, high-conflict co-parenting situations, musicians, high-profile clients, and everyday people navigating whatever life is throwing at them.
BCW is a growing practice. We work with a talented network of clinicians and collaborators — bringing elevated care across a range of specialties. Services available in person at our Oak Park and Palatine locations, and statewide throughout Illinois via telehealth.
